Founded in 1930, the Rotary Club of Singapore is the oldest and largest Rotary Club in Singapore. It reflects Singapore’s cosmopolitan culture with members from around 25 nationalities. The club’s projects revolve around four service committees: Vocational Service, Community Service, Youth Service and International Service. This award is organized by the Vocational Service Committee.

Over 9+ decades, the club has undertaken many projects locally and internationally for the needy, less able and marginalised sectors of the community. On the domestic front, we established institutions which were much needed in their time, and now have become independent, turned over to the government or were no longer needed. The Club’s international projects have helped build the Singapore brand as a contributor to major programs in education, medical care, poverty alleviation and disaster relief in more than 30 countries.

Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for both service and fellowship. We are a diverse group of professionals with a shared drive to give back, and a belief that One Profits Most Who Serves Best.
